Karin is a kunoichi from Otogakure who ran Orochimaru’s southern lair, a prison of sorts, until Orochimaru’s death, after which she joined Sasuke’s team, Hebi, to kill his brother Itachi Uchiha. She loves Sasuke and would do anything for him, leaving Orochimaru’s hideout for his sake.

She wields the Hiden Kagura Shingan, an enhanced version of the Perception Sense, and can hide her own chakra, making her ideal for spotting and tracking enemies.

After Sasuke tries to kill her while fighting Danzou Shimura, she leaves Team Taka and is taken to Konohagakure as a prisoner. Karin is a member of the Uzumaki clan. Karin’s personality is determined by two very opposite currents, on the one hand by her analytical, critical way with which she classifies opponents or new situations, as well as the chakra of the opponent and her affection for Sasuke, in which she behaves extremely childishly and thoughtlessly.

In most situations, she relies more on her analytical half, where she alienates people with her always quite open criticism and comes across as arrogant, which Suigetsu Hoozuki often accuses her of and often ends in a small fight, which Suigetsu is responsible for but doesn’t take his liquid body very seriously.

10. Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki is a girl from Konohagakure and the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuuga and the sister of Boruto Uzumaki. Like her older brother, she is equally a member of the Uzumaki and Hyuuga clans. She does not attend Ninja Academy in the epilogue. Himawari is a kind-hearted and bright girl.

She is sensitive and curious, as she asks if Neji likes the sunflowers, and seems very fond of her older brother Boruto, wanting him by her side as she visits the cemetery with her mother. She seems mature and responsible for her age – helping her mother around the house and, unlike her brother, showing understanding and patience when her father is constantly absent.

Her loving side is shown when she gently nudges her father to wake him up on the day of his Hokage inauguration. However, she can also show other sides of herself, which testify to her temperament. If provoked enough, she shows a rather intimidating, almost frightening side of herself. Here she resembles her paternal grandmother – even her older brother takes flight in such a situation and hides from her.

9. Anko Mitarashi

Anko Mitarashi is a Kunoichi with the rank of Special Jonin who hails from Konohagakure. She was a former student of Orochimaru, who trained her for years. She was also the leader of the second part of the Chunin competitive exam. She appears cheerful and carefree most of the time but occasionally flashes a mysterious smile that has something dangerous about it.

Anko is actually a rather childish, easy-going, and spunky person. So she loves to have special performances, as you could see in the Chunin competitive exam. However, she can also appear quite stubborn and tough and intimidate others.

Her past with Orochimaru shaped her a lot. In order to kill Orochimaru, she forgets all caution and is willing to sacrifice her life for it. On missions, she is willing to stay behind alone so the others on her team can escape, even if it means risking their lives.

8. Kushina Uzumaki

Kushina Uzumaki is a kunoichi from the Whirlpool kingdom and the mother of Naruto. Her personality and ninjutsu skills were known to many. Kushina has an extremely extraordinary chakra, so she became the second Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi. Even as a child, Kushina had a very short temper and would beat up her classmates if they teased her about her red hair.

This didn’t change as she got older, either. She was also boisterous, loud, and cheeky. She passed these traits on to Naruto. Nevertheless, she was a cheerful and talkative person who felt a lot of love for her husband and, later, also for her son. She doesn’t hesitate to sacrifice her life for her family. Kushina habitually added “datteba…” at the end of many of her sentences.

7. Rin Nohara

Rin Nohara was a Kunoichi from Konohagakure who formed a team with Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha under the direction of Minato Namikaze, the Yondaime Hokage. Despite her young age, Rin was a talented iryounin and later became the Sanbi’s Jinchuuriki. Rin was a very friendly, helpful, and kind girl who cared deeply about her team’s and village’s welfare.

She proved this when she sacrificed her life to prevent the destruction of Konoha by the Sanbi that was previously sealed within her. She acted as a mediator within her team because her two teammates, Kakashi Hatake, and Obito Uchiha, often argued. Rin was very intelligent because – despite her young age – she could use medical ninjutsu at a high level.

She also possessed a strong will that even powerful Genjutsu could not break. While Obito had strong feelings for Rin, she could not reciprocate as she was in love with Kakashi and revealed her feelings to him after Obito’s supposed death. However, she always tried to help Obito by healing his wounds or giving him moral support in his quest to become Hokage.

6. Hanabi Hyūga

Hanabi Hyūga is the second daughter of Hiashi Hyūga and Hinata’s sister, who is five years younger than Hinata, having surpassed her skill by age seven. Hanabi is more confident and embodies the Hyuuga bloodline more than Hinata. That’s why her father seems to prefer her too. He personally trains her daily so that she can later take over the inheritance of the Hyūga clan as heir.

Hanabi is a friendly and calm girl. She appears very submissive to her father and carries out his orders without asking. Furthermore, she forms the counterpart to her sister, since Hanabi, in contrast to her, is much more self-confident despite her young age and has more confidence in her powers. She also seems to be very inquisitive, as she asks her father straight out what’s on her mind.

As a child, she was very bright and always inclined to play with her big sister. To this, she looked up with pride and respect. Hanabi always wanted to be like Hinata: elegant yet strong. Also, she is never satisfied with what she has mastered. So she always strives to learn new jutsu and is single-minded.

5. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was the princess of the Ōtsutsuki Clan from an unknown dimension. Once she landed on Earth, she fell in love with an Earthman, who the other members of her clan considered inferior. She had two sons with him, Hamura and Hagoromo. Following the murder of her husband, Kaguya chose to eat the fruit of the Divine Tree, gaining possession of the resulting chakra.

In doing so, she managed to subjugate the whole world to her will, and since he knew that her descendants would one day seek her out to take revenge on her, he created an army of living beings, the Zestu, to protect her from any future threats. These threats, however, will turn out to be her two sons who, to end her thirst for power and revenge, decided to seal her through the Chibaku Tensei of the Six Paths of Transmigration.

Once sealed, her divine chakra was divided equally by the two brothers into nine creatures called the Cercoteri. After centuries, however, the Black Zetsu managed to bring her back to life in the body of Madara Uchiha at the end of the Fourth Ninja World War.

Finally, however, Kaguya is again sealed by the direct descendants of her own children, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Fifteen years later, Momoshiki, Urashiki, and Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki arrive on Earth to take possession of the Kaguya Chakra, which, by right, would have belonged to them.

4. Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno and is thus a member of the Uchiha clan. She was born in one of Orochimaru’s hideouts, and her mother accompanied her father on his journey for a while, with Karin helping with the delivery. For this reason, there is no birth certificate from Sarada, which caused doubts repeatedly.

In the epilogue, she goes to the ninja academy. However, during the events of Boruto: Naruto the Movie, she is already a kunoichi. Unlike her teammate Boruto, she emulates Naruto and even wants to be Hokage one day. Sarada has inherited important traits from her parents: she is critical and disapproves of Boruto Uzumaki’s behavior but is also discreet and withdrawn.

She has the same idiom as her mother – Shannaro! – and admits that she and Boruto have something in common when it comes to their fathers and is, therefore a bit alike. In addition, over time, she began to doubt her parents’ marriage since she had never met her father, and her mother was unable to tell her much about him, which upset her greatly.

In general, Sarada seems to value loving gestures from parents, as she warned Boruto to regard the bento box his mother made for his father not just as food but as a loving gesture from a loved one who went to the extra trouble of putting together such a box.

3. Tsunade

Tsunade is one of the three legendary sannin like Jiraiya and Orochimaru. She is – even though she is Hokage – not a good role model. She loves to gamble, but she loses very often. That’s why they call her the legendary loser. She is a hot-headed, temperamental woman and the granddaughter of the first Hokage Hashirama Senju.

That’s why she wears his necklace, which is said to be cursed. Tsunade is an extremely strong personality who knows how to assert herself. Other people often have a great deal of respect, or even downright fear, for her short-tempered and rude nature. Nevertheless, Tsunade also has a very sentimental side, which she doesn’t often show, only when it is about people who are close to her, and something bad happens to them.

Tsunade has had a fair amount of tragedy in the past. Since Nawaki, her younger brother, and Dan, her then-boyfriend, had to die in the war, she even had a downright phobia of blood for quite some time.

Tsunade ultimately turned to alcohol for these reasons and tried to distract himself from the loss by gambling. Only through Naruto Uzumaki, who gave her hope for a better future and the will to become Hokage herself, did she recognize her chance for meaning in her life and become Hokage.

2. Hinata Hyūga (Uzumaki)

Hinata Uzumaki (née Hyūga) was born the heir of the famous Hyūga clan. She is Neji Hyūga’s cousin, but unlike him, she is from the main family of the Hyūga clan. She has a younger sister, Hanabi Hyūga. Hinata has mastered the Byakugan, the Kekkei Genkai of the Hyūga clan, but not nearly as well as Neji.

She is very shy because she never wants the attention her clan gives her and can’t live up to her father’s expectations. Hinata is a ninja from the Leaf Village. She is part of Team 8, led by Kurenai Yuhi, and is teamed with Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame. The coldness and contempt of her father added to Neji’s resentment towards her, led her to distrust herself and believe in Naruto Uzumaki, with whom she is deeply in love with her.

1. Sakura Haruno (Uchiha)

Sakura Uchiha (born Haruno) is a kunoichi with the rank of Jonin who hails from Konohagakure and is one of the three main characters along with Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. She is very temperamental but knows how to behave with people of higher rank. She has been in love with Sasuke since the beginning of the series and confessed this to him when he left the village.

When Naruto is fooling around, she usually throws a violent punch to bring him back to his senses. She didn’t have a good relationship with Naruto at first (she counted him among her least favorite things), but over time it got better, and she had to acknowledge that Naruto had really evolved.

Even though she doesn’t love Naruto (but loves Sasuke), she shares an extremely strong bond with Naruto, making him one of her most important people. Sakura tends to be a more emotional person who always thinks of others and, accordingly, often worries about her friends.
