In it, we are going to tell you when the two-year timeskip in One Piece happened.

In the context of the One Piece series, the term timeskip refers to the two-year skip in the storyline that occurs between Chapters 597–598 of the manga, and Episodes 516–517 of the anime series. It separates the story of One Piece into two distinct parts: Sea of Survival: Super Rookies Saga and The Final Sea: The New World Saga.

What happened directly after the timeskip in One Piece?

Episode 517 begins with a snowy view of Rusukaina Island, northwest of Amazon Lily. It’s been two years since the Navy, the Shichibukai, and the Whitebeard Pirates clashed. Luffy walks back to where he once left his Straw Hat on the only safe place on the island. We learn that Luffy has become the master on the island and the Amazons are there to bring him back to Sabaody.

Rayleigh left six months ago and is looking forward to it. The sun sets over the Sabaody Archipelago as Rayliegh has a drink in the Con Bar while discussing with Shakky the near arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates. When suddenly, the door opens with a creak: a green-haired man with a black scarf on his left arm appears in the door frame. Roronoa Zoro arrived first.

Ten days later in a bar, Nami finally arrived. More beautiful than ever, she let her hair grow. She is served a drink while we learn that the Navy Headquarters has moved to the G1 section. A man exclaims in the bar that the Mugiwara are back and recruiting new crew members. When suddenly the Fake Straw Hat crew walks into the bar.

But Nami is not fooled and understands that it is this fake crew who recruits on behalf of the Mugiwara. At Grove #33, the queue for Brook’s concert is huge. Soul King Brook is so famous that the room is full for his last show. The concert begins and Brook starts a song that makes the audience roar. While his Manager calls someone after a revelation from Brook.

On the coasts of the Archipelago, Sanji finally arrives accompanied by Ivankov’s Okamas with which he trained for two years: he has grown a fine mustache and a small goatee and his lock now covers his right eye at the place on the left And since all this time, he hasn’t seen any women, so when he meets them his nose begins to bleed profusely and young women generally get scared.

That’s when Sanji starts running to find his beloved Nami and Robin. A bullet is fired. It was the Fake Luffy who shot a pirate who was supposedly not up to the demands. The whole crew is in the bar passing applications. The fake Luffy then kills the man who was on the ground in cold blood. We then learn that there are already around a hundred people, including three entire crews, who have already joined them.

It was then that the fake Luffy called out to the real Nami, but she declined as politely as possible. But they insisted and she answered more directly that she didn’t like them. A man walks calmly into the bar. Fake Nami approaches the beautiful redhead with the weapon Fake Luffy was holding seconds before.

It was then that Usopp, having built up his muscles, used his Pop Green to neutralize the fake crew. Nami jumps into her arms upon discovering her identity. Nami uses Thunderballs on the way out which shatters half the bar. Despite the force of the attack, the fake crew is still alive and its captain demands that Usopp and Nami be found.

At G1 Headquarters, a Marine announces a problem on the Sabaody Archipelago. They have just learned of the Mugiwara’s survival and are asking for more reinforcements on the Archipelago. Robin walks quietly through the streets, she is one of the last to arrive: she has let her hair grow and no longer has her bangs. Knowing perfectly well that she is being followed by men dressed in black, she hides discreetly and easily sows her pursuers.

She looks at two posters, one of “Soul King Brook” and one of the fake crew pirate recruitment. Franky has finally arrived, he has changed somewhat: his arms are all metal with many weapons and gadgets and has improved his Cyborg body in its entirety. He went straight to the Thousand Sunny, he has no scratches and is ready to go down to the seabed.

Chopper walks the streets eating a Big-Buns, this one wears a new hat and he is very excited to find his friends. When he sees cotton candy he can’t help but take it. In another neighborhood, a woman is shot in the shoulder by the fake Luffy claiming that the two individuals strongly resemble Nami and Usopp. Fake Luffy points his gun at the man and shoots him cruelly. Finally Luffy jostles the false captain with his luggage. Luffy apologizes but he nevertheless incurs the wrath of the fake captain.
