Marija Prekodravac is a writer based in Rijeka, Croatia. Currently, she is a student at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rijeka. Marija’s expertise includes fiction books, sitcoms, The Marvel Cinematic Universe, Harry Potter, and LotR. Before working at Fiction Horizon, she was a writer for her high school newspaper, Semper Magis, and one of the writers for her university newspaper, Speculum. Marija has recently watched and covered most mainstream TV shows, including House of Dragon, His Dark Materials, Heartstopper, The Fate: Winx Saga, and of course, everything from Marvel and DC. She has watched almost every US and UK sitcom, especially those from the early 2000s. Her favorite sitcom is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Her love for books started in childhood, so it is no surprise her favorite writers are Terry Pratchett, J.R.R. Tolkien, Philip Pullman, and Rick Riordan. She has also read all Harry Potter books more than ten times in her life, so she is an expert on everything concerning the Wizarding World. Marija loves to explore everything there is to know about why and how a movie or TV show is made. From what inspired the author to how the director decided to present that to the audience and the technology behind the final product. She believes that there is something for everyone to enjoy in books, TV series or movies. Those art forms help us find a way to make our everyday life more magical.
